The Monthly Bio is a newsletter that gives the community dev updates on the progress of DeBio Network. Everything from the new partnerships to the most recent deployment changelogs will be included in this newsletter.

TL;DR In this iteration, the DeBio Network dev team has released:

  • pinata-ipfs: An open-source library that will allow your front-end application to interact with the Pinata API.
  • polkadot-provider : A new package that can help you connect to the DeBio Network blockchain using JavaScript.
  • Added transaction gas fees on several pages.
  • Improvement on quick search behavior Request Service Map.
  • Improvement in the staking process.

Product Update 📦

The DeBio Network team has released a new version of DeBio Network to the Testnet and Mainnet apps.

New Open-Source Project💡: Pinata IPFS

Pinata IPFS is a small package that will simplify how you interact with the Pinata API.

New Open-Source Project💡: Polkadot Provider

DeBio Network builds on top of the DeBio Network blockchain, a Substrate blockchain specifically used for biomedical purposes. You can now interact with the blockchain easily using JavaScript and our new Polkadot provider package.

Feature Updates ⚙️: Improvements in Quick Search

DeBio Network has improved the behavior of the quick search behavior within our request service map.

Feature Updates ⚙️: Transaction Gas Fees

It is now possible for you to see the estimated gas fees before executing a transaction on every transaction page.

Improvements 🔧: User Experience

There have been some improvements to the overall user experience, including:

  • Added general error popup message.
  • Added insufficient balance validation.
  • Improvement in the staking process.
  • Improvement on some copywriting.
  • Improvement on the UI design.
  • Fixed error message after customer signing out.
  • Fixed a mismatch detail order payment with service fee.
  • Fixed service image mismatch.
  • Fixed popup message wording after successfully editing genetic data.

Community Updates 📰

DeBio Network released the first two open-source libraries used by the dev team to give back to the community. More articles will be coming about how you can use those libraries soon.
